Be accurate, respect other people’s rights and follow Taiwan law. We facilitate discovery, but are not a party to contracts between productions, professionals or suppliers.
01 · Agreement and service scope
By visiting, registering for or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you act for a company, production or other organisation, you confirm that you can bind it to these terms. Beta features may change, pause or be subject to limits.
02 · Accounts and eligibility
- Provide accurate information, secure your third-party sign-in account and take responsibility for activity under your account.
- Do not impersonate anyone, trade accounts, evade suspension, or create misleading company, credit or identity records.
- Where a minor applies, performs or contracts, publishers and guardians must comply with child protection, labour and performance laws.
03 · Your content and licence
You retain rights in content you upload. To operate, search, display, back up and improve the service, you grant Filmmaker Taiwan a non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free licence, limited to what is reasonably necessary to operate and promote the service. It ends after deletion, subject to backup cycles and content already shared.
- You confirm that you may upload each text, image, video, trade mark, credit and contact detail.
- Do not upload infringing, unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, malicious or deceptive material.
- Credits involving collaborators must respect attribution, privacy and confidentiality obligations.
04 · Calls, applications and catalog
The platform supplies publishing, discovery and contact tools. We do not guarantee any call, casting notice, professional, production, project, supplier, quotation or outcome. Publishers must clearly disclose the work, dates, location, compensation or usage, and conduct their own identity, qualification, insurance, safety and background checks.
- Do not use recruitment to demand unreasonable deposits, transfers or fraudulent payments.
- The parties should document performance, image, copyright, confidentiality, compensation, tax and insurance terms in writing.
- Supplier information and guide prices support comparison only; final scope and price depend on the parties’ agreement.
05 · Safety and community conduct
Do not harass, discriminate against, stalk or threaten anyone, or collect and disclose non-public information. Do not disrupt the service, bypass safeguards, scrape at scale, send spam, or build unauthorised talent or commercial lists. If an interaction appears unsafe or fraudulent, stop engaging and report it to us.
06 · Verification, moderation and suspension
We may, but are not obliged to, review content, request verification, reduce distribution, remove listings or suspend accounts. We may act where material appears unlawful, infringing, unsafe, deceptive or contrary to these terms. A verification badge means selected information passed the process used at that time; it is not a guarantee of skill, creditworthiness or results.
07 · Fees and payment
Features described as free currently carry no platform charge. If paid plans, promoted listings or transaction features are introduced, we will disclose price, tax, renewal and refund terms before purchase. We do not hold or guarantee compensation or service fees paid privately between members.
08 · Platform rights, disclaimers and liability
Apart from user content, the service design, software, branding, arrangement and original materials are protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or create a confusing service without permission.
The service is supplied as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant third-party content, member conduct, contractual performance, opportunity authenticity or uninterrupted availability, and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains governed by applicable law.
09 · Ending use, governing law and contact
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may restrict or close an account for serious or repeated breach, safety risk, legal requirement or discontinuation. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The parties should first seek a good-faith resolution; unresolved disputes may be brought before a Taiwan court with lawful jurisdiction. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.
